PISCCA PROJECT (2022-2023)

PISCCA (Innovative Projects of Civil Societies and Stakeholders Coalition Fund) French Embassy Feminist Grant; 

Embibo Gender Initiative is implementing the “Increasing Rural Young Women’s Access to SRHR Skills, Knowledge, and Advocacy” project through peer outreach, the Feminist Rural Academy, and leader round-tables. 

Supported by the French Embassy through CEHURD, the project has built rural feminist leaders influencing SRHR and SGBV policies. 

It has reached 1,500 AGYW and female sex workers, and engaged 100 leaders and 60 CSOs in national and regional advocacy, including contributions to the East African Community SRH Bill.
