Young people Collective Actions Now (2022)

Embibo Gender Initiative implemented the YOUCAN Project—Young People Collective Actions Now—with support from the Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights. 

Over three months, the project strengthened community advocacy and reduced stigma surrounding contraceptive access, safe post-abortion care, CSE, and HIV treatment. 

It reached more than 500 young people and trained 10 health workers. Activities included youth trainings, peer outreach, community working groups with leaders, and anti-stigma platform uniting feminist allies for SRHR policy action.
