Feminist Rural Academy

Building a movement of rural feminist advocates (15-30 years) that examine, question and change social norms, policies and systems around  Sexual Reproductive Health and  Rights, economic and Climatic Change justice. 

 

Differentiated Service Delivery Models

Embibo Gender Initiative uses client-centered approaches such as  peer to peer outreaches, Drop in center and Client-Led Art/PREP groups to  increase access to HIV testing, treatment and care, STI management, contraceptive utilization and safe maternity for key and priority population groups. 

 

GBV Fund

Providing women with unrestricted smaller funds to start businesses, access medical care, and have better antenatal care. The fund is available to teenage mothers, young women living with HIV and reproductive health illnesses, and survivors of sexual and domestic violence.

School Health Clubs and School Health Committees

We work with secondary schools to ensure access to quality sexuality education through school health clubs. The clubs teach children healthy ways of dealing with sex, sexuality and their changing bodies. The emphasize key components of sexual violence, menstrual hygiene, HIV/AIDs prevention and management.
